GET INVOLVED
We desire to put the gospel on display in our community through building relationships with neighbors, partnering with local organizations, and serving our community when needs arise. If you want to get involved, we have established ministry partnerships with local organizations and can help find a place for you to serve.
CRU Inner City
CRU Inner City desires to see cities transformed by the hope and justice of the gospel by serving and mobilizing the church to live out God's heart for the poor, so all can grow in Christ to build spiritual movements everywhere. Four Oaks Midtown partners with CRU Inner City financially and through serving with churches on the south side of our city in the ministry of the gospel.
Guardian Ad Litem
We desire to be a church that sends believers into our community to care for the most vulnerable among us. The Guardian Ad Litem program trains individuals to advocate through the court system on behalf of children who have been neglected and abused. These volunteers have the privilege of serving the Lord as they serve others.
Midtown Community Garden
Four Oaks Midtown has cultivated a small community garden in the heart of Midtown at 9th and Terrace Park. This neighborhood park is conveniently located off of E. 7th Ave. between Thomasville and Centerville roads just down the street from our church. Our desire is to bless the Midtown community and develop gospel relationships by providing opportunities for neighbors to gather alongside members of our church. Plots are available seasonally and individuals maintain their own plot for the duration of the planting season.
PHI Center
The Pregnancy Help and Information Center is a Christ-centered pregnancy center that offers services to women who believe they might be pregnant, those who are pregnant, and those with young children. The PHI Center partners with local churches to train and equip individuals for the work of ministering to those who are hurting and broken in Tallahassee.
Safe Families for Children
Four Oaks Midtown has partnered with Safe Families for Children to provide care and support to families in Tallahassee who are experiencing difficult life circumstances. SFFC equips and empowers The Church to minister to the vulnerable and disempowered members of our community. Those serving with SFFC in our church assist parents, offer hosting and mentorship for children, provide resources, and engage in a Christ-centered relationships with the whole family. Darlena Watson serves as the Ministry Lead for Four Oaks Midtown. Contact her or find out learn more about Midtown’s role with SFFC through the Get Involved Button below.
